High school students in Ho Chi Minh City can take free IELTS practice tests with the British Council from October.

(Dan Tri) - In order to help 12th grade students accurately assess their foreign language proficiency and prepare for the IELTS exam, Greenwich Vietnam cooperates with the British Council IELTS and PREP to organize a series of IELTS Mock Tests simulating real exams.

In the context of global integration, the IELTS certificate has long been an important “passport”, opening up many opportunities for international study and work. With the support of the British Council - one of the three founding and most prestigious organizations in the world for the IELTS exam - and PREP, Greenwich Vietnam aims to build a serious and systematic training space to help candidates confidently enter the real exam with the best possible mindset.

The IELTS Mock Test focuses on two skills: listening and writing, compiled by the British Council, ensuring that it is similar to the international test structure. The entire test takes place on a computer system and standard IELTS software provided by PREP, under the close supervision of professional invigilators and examiners. This is an opportunity for candidates to get used to the pressure of the exam room, how to allocate time, and have experts objectively assess their strengths and weaknesses, thereby shaping a more effective learning path for the real IELTS exam.

Before entering the test, a British Council representative will directly introduce the IELTS on computer format, guide the features, and share necessary tips and notes to help candidates prepare well.

Participants are grade 12 students studying at high schools in Ho Chi Minh City. Candidates can register easily by filling in information at the link https://bit.ly/khaosatgw2026.

The series of exams will be held periodically in the third week of October, December and February, April, June 2026 at Greenwich Vietnam campus, Ho Chi Minh City, online on computers.

For each exam, the organizers will select 3 candidates with the highest total test scores to award an official IELTS exam, worth nearly 5 million VND.
