Tonight, February 28, in Cam Thuy commune, Cam Lo district, the Women's Union of Cam Thuy commune organized the 2024 rural fair. This activity quickly attracted the participation of a large number of people in the area. Notably, at the fair, people preferred not to use cash to pay for goods.

“The annual rural fair – no cash” has 18 booths of women’s associations in the commune; Women’s Unions of neighboring localities; businesses... displaying and introducing clean agricultural products produced by women’s association members; local OCOP-recognized products; and local cuisine .
The fair attracted a large number of members and people to exchange and buy and sell goods to promote local agricultural products widely in the market. The special feature of the rural fair organized by the Women's Union of Cam Thuy commune this time is the priority of non-cash payment.
Specifically, at each booth, there are cadres and women's union members to guide people and visitors on how to make cashless payments via QR codes; e-wallets... Thereby creating opportunities for women and the general public to access the benefits of the digital transformation process, gradually forming the habit of not using cash in shopping activities.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen, in Cam Vu 1 village, Cam Thuy commune, excitedly said: "I have heard a lot about cashless payment, but today I tried it and saw how quick, convenient and safe this form is. Now, wherever you go, you just need to bring your mobile phone."
