
Lang Son Red Cross provides relief in Huu Lung commune
To promptly share the difficulties with people in flood-hit areas, the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee decided to continue allocating more than VND5.7 billion in emergency relief, including cash and essential goods.
Specifically, Bac Ninh province received 800 million VND and 120,000 water filter powder packages; Cao Bang received 800 million VND and 96,000 water filter powder packages; Tuyen Quang received 600 million VND and 72,000 water filter powder packages; Thai Nguyen received 800 million VND and 240,000 water filter powder packages; Lang Son received 500 million VND and 72,000 water filter powder packages; Lao Cai received 500 million VND and 72,000 water filter powder packages; Thanh Hoa received 200 million VND and 31,440 water filter powder packages; Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Tri each received 300 million VND in support.
The funding source is taken from the "Join hands to overcome floods" campaign launched by the Central Association, through account H2025 at Vietcombank.
It is expected that on October 10 and 11, the Central working delegation of the Vietnam Red Cross Society led by Vice President Vu Thanh Luu and representatives of Vietcombank will directly go to Thai Nguyen province to visit, encourage and give relief gifts to households severely affected by natural disasters.
