The 1st Congress of Women's Delegates of Tam Giang Commune, term 2025 - 2030

On October 9, Tam Giang Commune Women's Union held the 1st Congress of Women's Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

This is the first unit in the province to organize a 2-content Congress according to the guidance of the Central Presidium of the Vietnam Women's Union for merged and consolidated units; marking an important first step in the process of organizing Women's Congresses at all levels in the province.

The congress was attended by 100 official delegates, representing more than 3,600 women's union members in the whole commune.

Tam Giang Commune Women's Union was established on the basis of merging the Women's Unions of Tam Giang, Cu Klong and Ea Tam communes. In the period of 2021-2025, Tam Giang Commune Women's Union completed and exceeded 8/8 set targets.

The women's movement is increasingly going into depth, attracting a large number of women from all walks of life to participate with a vibrant atmosphere, spreading its influence in the community. The activities of the Women's Union at all levels have many innovations and creativity, increasingly meeting the needs of female cadres and members and associated with the implementation of local political tasks.

The Executive Committee of the Tam Giang Commune Women's Union, Term I, introduced itself to the Congress.

The Association has helped 91 member families in difficult or sudden difficulties to borrow interest-free loans; given gifts to 51 orphans and disabled children, 34 disabled women in difficult circumstances; and effectively supported 37 poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households headed by women.

Every year, the Association introduces jobs to 10-15 female workers, with an average income of 7-8 million VND/person/month; 100% of cases related to women and children are discovered, assisted, and their legitimate rights are protected; over 86% of member households achieve the title of "Cultural Family".

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Dynamism - Innovation - Development", in the term 2025 - 2030, the Women's Union of Tam Giang commune strives to achieve the following targets: Helping at least 5 women start a business; 80% of the branches participate in building a green, clean and beautiful environment; over 85% of women's union members' families meet the criteria of "5 yes, 3 clean"; each year helping at least 2 women's households escape poverty sustainably; sponsoring 2 orphans and disadvantaged children...

At the Congress, the Presidium announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Tam Giang Commune Women's Union, Term I, consisting of 25 members. Comrade Ma Thi Huyen, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Tam Giang Commune Women's Union for the 2025-2030 term.
