Training conference to foster and improve capacity of "bim in management and appraisal of construction investment projects" in Thanh Hoa province.

On October 3-4, Thanh Hoa Department of Construction coordinated with the National Institute of Architecture - Ministry of Construction to organize a training program to improve the capacity of "BIM in the management and appraisal of construction investment projects" for project management and appraisal officers of specialized construction agencies at the provincial level. Comrade Pham Van Tuan - Deputy Director of the Department of Construction and Comrade Trinh Hong Viet - Deputy Director of the National Institute of Architecture attended.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Pham Van Tuan - Deputy Director of the Department of Construction emphasized: Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an important tool for digital transformation in the construction industry, helping to optimize the design, construction and project management process, helping to improve productivity and labor efficiency. The BIM model has become an inevitable trend with the goal of developing the construction industry. For state management agencies, BIM is a tool to support in the process of performing state management tasks. However, the application of BIM in Thanh Hoa province still faces many difficulties. Therefore, in order to implement in accordance with the direction of the Provincial People's Committee in Plan No. 94/KH-UBND dated May 14, 2025, he suggested that delegates focus on researching, discussing, and grasping the implementation process to deploy and apply it in practice.

At the conference, representatives of the National Institute of Architecture and experts participating in the teaching provided basic information and knowledge about BIM; BIM implementation process; contents that need to be implemented when setting up BIM tasks, planning BIM implementation; mechanisms and policies for applying BIM in our country and exchanging and sharing experiences in applying BIM in implemented projects.... Thereby, creating a premise for relevant agencies, organizations and individuals to continue researching and applying BIM in construction activities carried out by their agencies and units.
