Vinh Phuc Provincial Journalists Association gives Tet gifts to disadvantaged families

Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial Journalists Association Nguyen Dinh Bang, Deputy Director of Vinh Phuc Radio and Television Station Tran Thi Minh Nguyet and representatives of several businesses visited, encouraged and gave gifts to the family of Nguyen Huu Phu Vinh (Lang Thuy residential group, Lien Bao ward, Vinh Yen city) whose mother was paralyzed in bed due to an accident. The mother and son are currently living with their grandmother. Nguyen Thi Hong Giang, a primary school student in Lien Son commune, Lap Thach district, has a particularly difficult family situation where her father is in a vegetative state, her mother is unemployed, and her two siblings are still in school.

Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial Journalists Association Nguyen Dinh Bang, Deputy Director of Vinh Phuc Radio and Television Station Tran Thi Minh Nguyet and business representatives visited and presented gifts to Nguyen Thi Hong Giang.

Permanent Vice President of Vinh Phuc Provincial Journalists Association Trieu Thi Thanh Binh visited and presented gifts to the families: Ms. Pham Thi Hoa (My Do village, Tan Phong commune, Binh Xuyen district) whose parents-in-law are old and weak, her husband passed away, she herself was in a traffic accident, seriously injured, bedridden, 01 son with intellectual disability; Ms. Duong Bich Ngoc (residential group 1, Huong Canh town, Binh Xuyen district) and her son both suffer from thalassemia.

These are 4 of many situations discovered and introduced by members and journalists of the province in the "Kindness" section (Vinh Phuc Radio and Television Station) and the "Kindness Fund" section (Vinh Phuc Newspaper) in 2023 to call for attention and support from agencies, units, and philanthropists to help overcome difficulties and rise up in life.

Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Journalists Association Trieu Thi Thanh Binh presented gifts to Ms. Pham Thi Hoa who is being treated at the Provincial Hospital of Traditional Medicine.

At the places visited, the delegation members asked about the health situation, encouraged the families to try to overcome their circumstances, gradually overcome difficulties to improve their lives; wished the families a more prosperous New Year and Lunar New Year 2024.

The delegation presented Tet gifts from the Journalists Association, the province's press agencies, a number of businesses and some philanthropists (including essential necessities for Tet and cash) to the four above-mentioned situations, the value of the gift for each family is 4.5 million VND.
