On the side of Nghe An Provincial Military Command, there were: Colonel Pham Dinh Trung - Deputy Political Commissar of Nghe An Provincial Military Command, and comrades who are Heads of departments, agencies and affiliated units.

At the Program, comrade Nguyen Duc Loi - former member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association presented the Commemorative Medal to the Nghe An Provincial Military Command.
Along with that, representatives of the Vietnam Journalists Association presented 500 mosquito nets to soldiers at the Nghe An Provincial Military Command. This is the first activity in the series of "Lighting the Flame of Gratitude" programs taking place from July 16-18.

Speaking at the Program, comrade Nguyen Duc Loi said: "Lighting the flame of gratitude" is an activity that the Vietnam Journalists Association maintains every year, demonstrating the morality of the next generation towards the generation of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the cause of fighting for national independence, building and protecting the Fatherland, thereby continuing to raise the awareness and responsibility of the young generation for the work of showing gratitude to those who have contributed to the country.
The Vietnam News Agency Veterans Association and the Central Agency Veterans Association presented photos to the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command.
This year, the program takes place over 3 days (from July 16-18, 2024) in Nghe An. The delegation will offer incense to commemorate the souls of heroes and martyrs at Nghi Loc District Martyrs' Cemetery and Vietnam - Laos Martyrs' Cemetery (Anh Son), hold a requiem for the souls of martyrs - journalists at Au Lac Pagoda (Da Pagoda), Vinh City and inaugurate a cluster of works to repair and upgrade the dining area for war invalids and the multi-purpose hall at Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center.
The entire funding for the program comes from support and companionship in many forms from press agencies, units, businesses, social organizations and philanthropists across the country.

On behalf of the officers and soldiers, Colonel Pham Dinh Trung - Deputy Political Commissar of Nghe An Provincial Military Command said that in the two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism and the border war, Nghe An province was a strategic area, of great importance in terms of national defense and security. This was both the frontline and the rear serving the Fatherland in the process of national unification. Nghe An had nearly half a million young people on the front line, including nearly 200,000 main force troops. Among them, there were 45,000 martyrs, nearly 3,000 heroic Vietnamese mothers, and over 110,000 wounded and sick soldiers. This demonstrated the heroic and tragic spirit of Nghe An province in particular and the Vietnamese people in general.
Previously, the delegation of the Vietnam Journalists Association visited the Tradition Room of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command.
On behalf of the officers and soldiers of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, Colonel Pham Dinh Trung expressed his gratitude to the Vietnam Journalists Association for its attention to the officers and soldiers in the unit as well as the relatives of heroic martyrs, journalist-soldiers and families of meritorious people in Nghe An province.
