Documentary and reportage making skills on small, compact equipment

(DN) - On the morning of October 3, in Dong Thap province, the Center for Journalism Training (Vietnam Journalists Association) coordinated with the Dong Thap Provincial Journalists Association to organize a training course on documentary and reportage filmmaking skills with the theme "Small equipment, big problems". Attending the event was journalist Van Cong Hung, Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial Journalists Association.

The training course was attended by nearly 50 reporters and editors from Newspapers, Radio and Television: Ca Mau, Vinh Long, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Law and Life Newspaper and Vietnam News Agency's permanent office in Dong Thap. The training course was shared and guided by journalist and director Duong Van Huy, Deputy Head of the Scientific Film Department, Central Scientific Documentary Film Studio.

Before approaching the skills of making documentaries and reports on small, compact equipment, reporters and editors introduced themselves about the practical process of making their own films and reports, as well as that of each press agency, to share experiences from script building to the mindset of producing a work...

During 2 days of learning and sharing experiences, reporters and editors worked in groups, practiced techniques, and analyzed images on film using all kinds of technology and miniature equipment...
