Workshop to promote the role of female cadres participating in leadership and management positions at the local level

On December 6, the Provincial Women's Union coordinated with the Ninh Son District Party Committee to organize a workshop to promote the role of female cadres participating in leadership and management positions in the locality.

At the workshop, delegates had many opinions and discussions on local experiences and solutions in planning, training, fostering, transferring, and arranging the use of female cadres, especially young female cadres and ethnic minority women; directing and implementing policies to promote gender equality in the locality; coordinating with the government, the front, and socio -political organizations in the process of organizing and implementing women's work; developing female party members of ethnic minorities; analyzing the shortcomings and difficulties of women in leadership and management work... Through the workshop, it is aimed to strengthen the leadership and direction of all levels in implementing goals and solutions on gender equality and female cadre work in the period of industrialization and modernization of the country; promoting the role of female cadres participating in leadership and management positions in the locality.

Overview of the workshop.

It is known that Ninh Son district has a rate of 8/36 female comrades participating in the District Party Executive Committee (22%); 16/55 female comrades participating in the leadership of the district's specialized departments and offices (29%); 5/33 female comrades participating in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee (15%); 32/112 female comrades participating in the Commune Party Executive Committee (28.57%); 10/52 female comrades participating in key positions at the commune level (19.2%); 7 female/29 female delegates of the District People's Council, 24.14%, of which: 1 female is a member of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee; 46 female/198 delegates of the Commune People's Council, 23.23%; total number of female party members: 744 female/1,970 party members, 37%.
