Today (September 21), Hanoi Children's Palace was officially inaugurated.

Hanoi Children's Palace is located on an area of ​​nearly 40,000 m2 in CV1 lake park, in Cau Giay new urban area, Nam Tu Liem district.

Construction started in November 2021, after more than two years the project was completed with a total investment of 1,376 billion VND. The palace consists of two blocks, of which block A (front) has a theater, cinema, art club. Block B has a library, astronomy tower, gymnasium, swimming pool...

The project is designed with the theme "Nurturing and Developing" with two large circular buildings as the center, creating a soft, monolithic overall shape with many new, unique design ideas, close to nature to be both suitable for children and highly educational .

The project was completed and put into use, creating a favorable environment to discover, nurture and develop children's talents; with a modern, dynamic and creative space, which has an important meaning in contributing to the development and construction of a civilized and modern urban area.

Previously, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Hong Son signed and issued Plan No. 272/KH-UBND dated September 16, 2024 on the inauguration and installation of a signboard to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024) of the Hanoi Children's Palace.

Accordingly, the inauguration ceremony, the installation of a signboard and the putting into use of the Hanoi Children's Palace on Pham Hung Street, My Dinh 2 Ward, Nam Tu Liem District will be held to meet the needs of learning, playing, sports competition, physical training, and cultural exchange of children in the capital. This is a practical activity to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital. The inauguration ceremony will be held on September 21, 2024.

The City People's Committee assigned the City Civil Construction Investment Project Management Board to be the standing agency, presiding over all matters related to the inauguration and installation of the Project's sign. Presiding over the acceptance work with relevant units to complete the procedures and hand over the project according to regulations.

The City Police preside over and coordinate with the Nam Tu Liem District Police and relevant units to ensure security, order, and fire prevention and fighting at the area where the inauguration ceremony and signboard of the project will be installed.

The Department of Transport presides over and coordinates with the People's Committee of Nam Tu Liem District to develop a plan, organize traffic flow, and ensure traffic safety at the inauguration ceremony and sign installation. Coordinate with the People's Committee of Nam Tu Liem District and the City Police in coordinating traffic around the area, ensuring smooth and safe traffic.

The City's Emulation and Rewards Committee presides over the announcement of the Decision on the project to attach a plaque and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing and implementing the investment project to build the Hanoi Children's Palace.

Coordinate with the Hanoi City Civil Construction Investment Project Management Board to determine the location of the sign and the plan for organizing the sign mounting to ensure solemnity and suitability.

The People's Committee of Nam Tu Liem District directed the Department of Culture and Information and the Department of Health of the district to propagate on the information system of the wards about the inauguration ceremony, put up signs of the project and information about the activities of the Hanoi Children's Palace. Directed the subordinate units to upgrade and beautify the urban landscape around the project.

The City People's Committee requested that the inauguration ceremony and the installation of the project signboard be solemn, effective, practical, economical and meaningful. Information about the Hanoi Children's Palace be widely disseminated to all classes of people, especially children in the capital and neighboring areas. Ensure close coordination between relevant units and agencies in organizing the event.
