Meeting of the Advisory Council to select organizations and individuals to preside over grassroots science and technology tasks in the field of Crop Production, to be implemented in 2025.

On the morning of October 7, 2025, the Department of Science and Technology (KH&CN) of Quang Ngai province held a meeting of the Advisory Council to select organizations and individuals to preside over grassroots-level S&T tasks in the field of Cultivation with the proposed task of "Building a model of experimental tobacco planting in Quang Ngai province".

Attending the meeting were Dr. Phan Van Hieu - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology as Chairman of the Council, along with Council members according to Decision No. 167/QD-SKHCN dated October 3, 2025 of the Department of Science and Technology.

According to the proposal of the Center for Science and Technology Application of Quang Ngai province, the task of " Building a model for experimental tobacco planting in Xop commune and Kon Plong commune in Quang Ngai province " is carried out with the goal of building a model for experimental tobacco planting in Xop commune to evaluate the growth, development and suitability as a basis for replicating the model, developing raw material areas, contributing to improving the lives of people in the commune.

Council members discussed and evaluated the content of the task proposal at the meeting.

After analyzing and discussing the contents of the task proposal form at the meeting, the Council members agreed not to carry out this task because it did not meet the requirements according to Article 33 of Circular 09/20024/TT-BKHCN dated December 27, 2024 on Regulations on management of Science and Technology tasks at provincial and grassroots levels using the State budget.
