Promoting natural advantages and local identity, Na Na Cooperative focuses on producing and trading local agricultural products: growing and trading vegetables and green fruits such as mustard greens, pumpkins, chayote... and local foods such as black chickens and black pigs, which account for 70% of revenue. In addition, the Cooperative develops beekeeping for honey, developing the natural wild flower honey brand that is favored by customers in the lowlands.

These tourism activities not only create jobs for people but also bring in positive income, contributing to promoting Mong culture to domestic and foreign tourists.

After just over 6 months of active operation, by the end of August 2025, Na Na Cooperative's revenue reached over 900 million VND - a positive result, affirming that the cooperative economic model is on the right track.

Empowering Mong women, unleashing community potential

The highlight of Na Na Cooperative is creating livelihoods for more than 40 local Mong women. In particular, 5 Mong women have become key personnel of the Cooperative with stable jobs and salaries. Along with that, the Cooperative has connected 12 Mong women to improve their capacity in market agriculture through the " Spring Tour 2024" class on market agriculture, of which 3 have developed a vegetable growing model, supplying green, clean vegetables to the Cooperative and the market; 12 other women were trained in developing brocade products, after the course, 2 small tailor shops were opened specializing in producing brocade souvenirs for tourists.

In parallel, the Cooperative also connects and trains local youth: 18 people learned about tourism safety, improving the quality of motorbike taxi services for tourists; 22 young people participated in video editing classes, equipped with digital and communication skills, and have now become the core force in promoting local indigenous culture and doing cooperative tourism.

The initial results have confirmed that Na Na Cooperative is creating positive social impacts, awakening community potential and opening up a direction that needs to be replicated. Not only stopping at a meaningful social project, the Cooperative also has great potential for sustainable development in the future.

Directions for the future

In the coming period, the Cooperative will continue to expand the scale of production, business, services, and improve product quality to create a more profound and sustainable social impact. At the same time, the Cooperative hopes to access preferential capital from credit institutions, as well as receive technical and technological support in agriculture and tourism to increase competitiveness and move towards sustainable development.

With the foundation of the same aspiration to contribute, Na Na Cooperative is gradually realizing its goal: building a sustainable Mong community right in its homeland of Mu Cang Chai.
