On October 7, the Hanoi Market Management Department said that Market Management Team No. 4 coordinated with Kim Lien Ward Police to inspect two shoe businesses at No. 16 and 69, Lane 12, Chua Boc Street, Kim Lien Ward.
Through inspection, the authorities discovered a total of 5,779 pairs of shoes of various types, bearing the brands Hermes, Dior, Adidas, Zara, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent (YSL), Chanel, Prada, Gucci, MLB, Valentino... showing signs of counterfeiting trademarks protected in Vietnam.
Market Management Team No. 4 contacted the legal representatives of the brands to verify the origin of the goods. The appraisal results showed that all of the above goods were counterfeit, including 3,478 pairs of fake Hermes sandals...

A representative of the market management force said that this was a large-scale case, demonstrating the sophisticated nature of counterfeit trading in the fashion sector - a highly consumed item that can easily confuse consumers. The authorities have temporarily seized all the exhibits to serve the investigation.
After determining that the goods were counterfeit trademarks, Kim Lien Ward Police issued a document requesting to transfer the case file to examine signs of crime.
Market Management Team No. 4 has handed over all documents and evidence to Kim Lien Ward Police for handling according to regulations.
