Phu Tan District organizes Olympic Running Day for public health in 2025

On the morning of March 25, the People's Committee of Phu Tan district organized the launching ceremony of "Olympic Running Day for the health of all people in 2025", practically celebrating the anniversaries of major holidays in 2025; 79 years since Uncle Ho called on all people to practice physical exercise and sports (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2025) and Vietnam Sports Day March 27.

Vice Chairman of Phu Tan District People's Committee Tang Van Ne; representative of Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development, Bac An Giang branch (sponsor) and nearly 1,000 officials, civil servants, public employees of district departments, unions, armed forces, union members and youth of Phu My town participated.

At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Phu Tan District People's Committee Tang Van Ne called on all officials, civil servants, public employees, students and local people to regularly exercise and play sports to improve their health, the community and society. After the launching ceremony, delegates participated in a 1km run around the district square.

At the same time, communes and towns in Phu Tan district simultaneously organized the launching ceremony of "Olympic Running Day for the health of all people" following the example of great Uncle Ho in the locality. The activity is organized annually to respond to the Olympic spirit, encourage all people to practice sports, improve health, improve physical fitness, improve the quality of life, the quality of human resources, serve study, work and production.
