The new generation of Hyundai Venue has just been revealed with a completely different design, showing a strong shift in the Korean car company's design language. Accordingly, the 2026 Hyundai Venue urban SUV has a sturdy, modern and sporty style, a harmonious combination of Hyundai Exter and Creta. In the new generation, Hyundai Venue has a sharper and more modern appearance than the current version. The front of the car is completely redesigned with a larger, more square grille and horizontal bars. The lighting system is also renewed with vertical LED headlights and a slim DRL daytime running light strip, placed close to the edge of the hood.
The rear of the car shows many changes with the LED taillights connected, the rear bumper redesigned, and the shark fin antenna painted black instead of the same color as the body. Although it still retains the familiar compact and boxy overall shape, the new generation Venue brings a more premium and sporty feel. The interior of the Venue 2026 has also been comprehensively upgraded, focusing on technology and user experience. The cabin features a dual curved screen cluster including a 10.25-inch central entertainment screen and a digital clock cluster of the same size. This is a feature that is only available on Hyundai's higher-end models.
The redesigned center console incorporates hidden air vents under the display and a push-button climate control cluster, replacing the traditional rotary knob. The interior uses more premium materials, has additional ambient lighting, and a sound system with a built-in subwoofer. In terms of amenities, the new Venue is said to come with features like ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and wireless smartphone connectivity. Higher-end versions are likely to get Level 2 driver assistance systems (ADAS), which include features like autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, front parking sensors, and automatic wipers. Hyundai is expected to launch the Venue 2026 in India in November next year.
The comprehensive upgrade in both appearance and technology shows that the Korean car company is pushing the Venue to a higher segment, approaching mid-range SUV models, to increase competitiveness in the context of the increasingly crowded and fierce small SUV segment.
