"If he wasn't so charismatic in the press conference and wasn't such a handsome man, he might have lost his job a lot sooner. When you look at Man Utd's results, they're terrible," Jamie Carragher said on The Overlap Fan Debate about why coach Ruben Amorim is still in charge at Man Utd after a terrible start to the season.

Accordingly, the Old Trafford team was eliminated early in the English League Cup when losing to the team playing in the fourth division, Grimsby Town. In the Premier League arena, coach Ruben Amorim's team only ranked 9th after 3 rounds when only won a somewhat lucky victory against Burnley.
The Red Devils have previously lost to Arsenal and drawn with Fulham in their opening two top-flight games, despite spending more than £200m in the summer transfer window.
“There are a lot of calls to bring Jose Mourinho back to Old Trafford. He works for money, he has a lot of ideas, but he is a winner.
We always remember the legend Brian Clough, because when he spoke, you listened because he was a winner.
The problem with Ruben Amorim is he's fantastic in press conferences. If he wins, we'll all think he's a great character," Jamie Carragher commented on Amorim's difficult job at Old Trafford.
Unlike Jamie Carragher, Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit believes that the future of coach Amorim will be decided by Man Utd after the FIFA Days series in September.
"I think Ruben Amorim is a very good person. He is still a very good coach but he is living a nightmare, like everyone else is living a nightmare on the coaching bench at Man Utd," Petit said.
"To be honest, I don't think he will stay at Man Utd after the FIFA Days in September, that's my opinion," Petit added.
