Connecting schools and businesses to improve output standards

Dr. Do Hong Cuong - Principal of Hanoi Capital University shared that cooperation between schools and businesses helps students improve their knowledge of the labor market, equip them with necessary skills when looking for jobs, and at the same time, can find job opportunities suitable to their abilities and majors.

Last April, Phenikaa University also organized the Career Journey Program and Job Fair (Phenikaa Career Fair). Nearly 60 businesses and students from universities in Hanoi participated in the event.

In recent times, the cooperation between schools and businesses in the training process has created convenience for all three parties: schools, learners, and employers. The application of this training model has contributed to improving the quality of training and creating output for students.

In April 2024, at the University of Science and Technology - University of Danang , a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement with the Aerospace Components Manufacturing Company UACV (Universal Alloy Corporation Vietnam, USA) on developing high-quality human resources took place. According to the signed content, the University of Science and Technology - University of Danang and UACV Company (USA) will focus on implementing cooperation in training to improve knowledge and skills for students. The enterprise will support and coordinate to organize training courses to help students proficiently use software and key technology solutions in designing, manufacturing and processing aerospace components.

On the side of the schools, Prof. Dr. Le Khac Cuong - Vice Principal of Hong Bang International University (HIU) recognized that the close relationship between schools and businesses is indispensable: The role of businesses in training activities is extremely important, playing the role of assessment and output standards for education . Schools need to build standard training programs, increase student experience in extracurricular activities and skills. Along with that, it is the connection and understanding of business needs that will make the school's training work be adjusted accordingly, and the output human resource standards will meet recruitment needs well.
