Speaking at the seminar, Ms. Le Thi Thuy Sen, Editor-in-Chief of Banking Times, said that the event is one of the activities of Banking Times and the Banking Academy, aiming to concretize Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on science and technology, innovation and digital transformation, and at the same time implement the goals of the national financial inclusion strategy.
This is also an opportunity for experts, managers, training institutions, representatives of banks, financial institutions, etc. to exchange and share experiences, and propose solutions to develop a workforce that is both knowledgeable in the profession and proficient in technology, ready to adapt to the rapid changes of the digital age, thereby spreading the spirit of innovation throughout the industry.
From a training perspective, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Thi Hoang Anh, Deputy Director in charge of the Board of Directors of the Banking Academy, said that developing digital human resources is a task that cannot be done alone, requiring close coordination between the State Bank, training institutions and businesses. Therefore, the Banking Academy hopes to continue to receive the support of credit institutions in placing training orders, sharing experiences, and creating internship opportunities for students. Thereby, forming a team of young human resources with knowledge, skills and the courage to master technology in the digital age.

Exchanging practical experience in training human resources to adapt to rapid changes in technology, Agribank representative said that the bank has devoted large resources to investing in technology, and built a separate salary policy for IT staff.
Meanwhile, Vietcombank focuses on developing a systematic human resource strategy, cooperating with international consulting organizations to build a capacity framework, perfecting a governance model and streamlined and efficient operating processes. The bank also implements a transparent salary and bonus policy, comprehensive benefits...

At the seminar, experts said that digital transformation is having a profound impact on all areas of life, including finance and banking activities. To seize opportunities and respond to technological challenges, developing high-quality human resources is urgent and needs to be implemented synchronously from educational institutions to each credit institution.
Despite significant progress, speakers assessed that the quality of human resources in the Vietnamese banking industry is uneven across sectors and generations of workers. A portion of the workforce still has limited digital skills, especially in data analysis, system administration and AI applications.
To ensure a quality human resource supply in the digital age, experts suggest promoting the role of universities and training institutions, forming a close link between banks - schools - students. Training institutions specializing in finance - banking need to innovate their curricula, increase digital technology knowledge, update courses on data analysis, fintech, financial AI and cybersecurity, etc.
