This year, for the first time, VNG will cooperate with Ho Chi Minh City National University (VNU HCM) to co-organize the competition. This model promotes the close connection between Enterprises and Schools in building high-quality technology human resources, while helping Code Tour reach a wider range of students.
Dr. Nguyen Thai Binh Long, Deputy Head of the Department of External Relations and Project Development, VNU-HCM said: “VNU-HCM always focuses on linking training with practice and encourages students to learn and experience through quality academic playgrounds. Co-organizing Code Tour 2025 with VNG is of great significance in the cooperation activities of the two units, demonstrating the close connection between schools and businesses in the work of developing high-quality technology human resources for Vietnam.”
Code Tour 2025 aims to become a platform connecting academic knowledge with technology practice, thereby creating an environment for students to practice thinking, improve programming skills and connect with the technology community. In the first week of registration, Code Tour 2025 recorded nearly 3,000 candidates registering for the competition.
This year's exam continues to be compiled by a team of experts from VNG and partners, representatives from member universities of Ho Chi Minh City National University. The exam format is problems about algorithms and problem-solving thinking, designed based on three factors: the ability to classify candidates, modernity linked to reality and the ability to inspire passion in young people. In each round, the exams will be built on many topics with different levels of difficulty.
Ms. Tran Xuan Ngoc Thao - Director of Human Resources and Communications of VNG - Head of the organizing committee of Code Tour 2025 said: “Entering the 7th year of organization, Code Tour not only affirms its attraction and value for the technology-loving community, but also demonstrates VNG's long-term commitment to developing talent and investing in people. By organizing for the first time with Ho Chi Minh City National University, VNG wishes to bring a playground that is both professional in depth and closely linked to technology practice, thereby connecting and developing young technology talents across the country. In addition, Code Tour 2025 is a testament to the spirit of deep cooperation between the State - Schools - Enterprises, joining hands to create high-quality digital human resources for the country".
Similar to the previous season, the official qualifying round of the competition called “Code Challenge” will start from October 4th to October 18th with 3 different rounds, taking place every Saturday night. After each qualifying round, the organizers will award cash prizes to the top 20 contestants with the best results (based on the rankings), along with many attractive gifts.
Contestants' achievements will also be recorded on the official Code Tour platform of the competition. According to the plan, on November 1, 2025, the 60 best faces will enter the final round of Code Tour 2025. Contestants can register to participate in Code Tour 2025 at: https://codetour.org/
