Opening of the 2025 Ca Mau Provincial Grassroots Club Cup Football Tournament

On the morning of October 15, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony of the 2025 Ca Mau Provincial Grassroots Clubs Cup Football Tournament. This is a practical activity to welcome the 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030; at the same time, responding to the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".

The Organizing Committee presented souvenir flags to the delegations and the Referee Team.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Chi Cong emphasized: The tournament is a healthy playground, helping athletes practice health, strengthen solidarity, exchange and learn from each other; at the same time, this is also an activity that contributes to promoting the sports movement in the province, building a joyful and healthy cultural life at the grassroots level.

This year’s tournament attracted more than 240 athletes from 16 teams from communes, businesses and the Provincial Police. The teams were divided into 4 groups, competing in a round-robin format, selecting the best teams to enter the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.

The tournament took place over 3 days (October 15-17) at the Provincial Stadium. Right after the opening ceremony, the first matches took place in an exciting and exciting atmosphere.
