Opening of the 2023 General Department of Technical Political Teaching Competition

Over the past years, political education (GDCT) in general, and political teaching in particular, have been regularly led and directed by Party committees and commanders at all levels in the General Department of Techniques. Many units closely follow the practical tasks and lives of soldiers to flexibly apply political teaching with political and ideological activities, cultural and spiritual political days... contributing to orienting awareness, unifying thoughts and actions for officers and soldiers; building a strong and comprehensive General Department of Techniques "Exemplary, typical".

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Lieutenant General Tran Duy Hung emphasized that the 2023 General Department of Technical Political Teaching Cadres Contest is a meaningful activity, aiming to foster and improve the qualifications, capacity, and pedagogical methods of the cadres working in political education, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of political education work at the unit. Through the contest, good political teaching cadres will be selected to participate in the 2023 military-level competition.

In order for the contest to achieve its goals and requirements, Lieutenant General Tran Duy Hung requested the Organizing Committee to proactively coordinate closely with agencies and units and directly direct and operate the forces to properly implement the plan, regulations and program of the contest. The Jury worked seriously, impartially, objectively, democratically, unitedly, in accordance with the regulations, accurately evaluated the contest results of the contestants and selected truly outstanding comrades to propose the Head of the General Department of Technology to commend, reward and continue to train to participate in the military-level contest. Lieutenant General Tran Duy Hung also requested that contestants need to be calm, confident, have a firm grasp of the content, strictly comply with the regulations; promote well the level, capacity, pedagogical methods and always be open to learning to achieve the highest results.

It is known that recently, the agencies and units in the General Department of Technology have successfully organized the Competition for political lecturers at the grassroots level and directly above the grassroots level. Through that, 17 cadres with outstanding achievements were selected to participate in the Competition at the General Department of Technology level. At this competition, the candidates will participate in the following sections: Preparing lectures (including paper lectures and electronic lectures); knowledge; teaching practice, combining handling pedagogical situations during the teaching process.
