Opening of the preparatory session of the 1st Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress

Attending the preparatory session were comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province; Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee: Ho Van Muoi, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Thi Phuc, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Luu Van Trung, Dang Hong Sy, Bui Thang; comrades of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Central Steering Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress, together with 495/498 official delegates representing more than 119,300 party members of the entire Party Committee.

At the preparatory session, delegates elected the Congress Presidium consisting of 15 comrades, the Congress Secretariat consisting of 3 comrades and elected the Congress Delegate Qualification Examination Committee consisting of 5 comrades.

The 1st Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress was attended by 498 official delegates representing more than 119,300 party members of the entire Party Committee.

At the same time, approve the program; rules and regulations of the Congress; announce the decision to establish 8 delegation groups and their working locations and thoroughly grasp the contents of the organization and service work for the official Congress session.

At the preparatory session, the Congress approved the Appeal to support people affected by storm No. 10. At the Congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province received more than 27.8 billion VND donated by Party Committees of communes, wards, special zones and agencies in the province to join hands to share with people in areas affected by storms and floods.

According to the program, the 1st Congress of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, took place from October 9-11, with the participation of 498 official delegates representing more than 119,300 party members of the entire Party Committee.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the Congress will summarize and comprehensively evaluate the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term; determine the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.

At the same time, the Congress will discuss and contribute opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress; announce personnel decisions for the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee and key positions of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, and the Provincial Party Committee Delegation to attend the 14th National Party Congress.
