Hoa Binh 1 Wind Power Plant is not only a modern energy project but also planned and combined with eco-tourism development. Visitors coming here will admire the 500m long colorful bougainvillea road, the nearly 17km bridge leading out to the sea, and giant turbines up to 180m high rotating in the wind. From this location, visitors can watch the sunrise, enjoy coffee amidst the sound of the waves, or visit the unique homestay built right at the foot of the turbines.

The Hoa Binh 1 Wind Power Plant Project has a total capacity of 100MW, with 26 wind turbines from VESTAS (Denmark), with a total investment of more than VND 5,200 billion. After completing two phases and connecting to the national grid in 2021, the plant has contributed nearly 200 million kWh of electricity, affirming Ca Mau 's position in the field of renewable energy. Together with the Hoa Binh 2 Wind Power Plant, this is the largest offshore wind power project complex in Vietnam and a pioneer in Southeast Asia.

Not only providing electricity, the Ca Mau wind power industry also brings a “new source of energy” to local tourism . Visitors can experience fishing under the turbines, cycling through the mangrove forests, or rowing a boat through the green mangrove and acacia trees along the coast. This model of combining wind power and eco-tourism contributes to spreading the message of green living, loving nature and protecting the environment.

Ca Mau currently has 9 wind power projects in operation, of which 8 are located along the coast and at sea, making the province the largest renewable energy center in the Mekong Delta. With 56 km of coastline and a unique mangrove ecosystem, Ca Mau is promoting tourism development associated with clean energy, aiming for the image of a "city of wind and green energy".
