The Quang Ngai Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board is currently the investor of two coastal embankment projects in An Phu and Van Tuong communes, Quang Ngai province.

These days, contractors are actively working to complete the project before the peak of the storm.

In An Phu commune, the coastal erosion prevention embankment was started in July 2025. The project is 250 m long, with a total investment of 30 billion VND, built in connection with the Pho Truong embankment section, directly protecting the densely populated residential area and many infrastructure works inside from the risk of erosion.

Meanwhile, at Sa Can estuary in Van Tuong commune, a landslide remediation project was also urgently deployed to protect about 100 households with nearly 300 people from the risk of high tides and big waves. The project has a total investment of 45 billion VND, starting in July 2025, including a 500 m long slope embankment, a 5.5 m wide combined embankment crest and traffic road, the first and last locks of the embankment, items on the route and a 125 m long connecting road.
