Cam Lam Social Policy Bank disburses capital for STEM student programs

On the morning of October 8, the Cam Lam Social Policy Bank Transaction Office disbursed policy credit capital for students in the fields of science, engineering, technology and mathematics (STEM). The beneficiary is Nguyen Huu Quoc Huy (Thuy Trieu village, Cam Lam commune) - a first-year student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, majoring in computer science and technology.

Representative of Nguyen Huu Quoc Huy's family received loan money at Cam Lam Social Policy Bank Transaction Office.

According to the approved application, Quoc Huy was able to borrow 301.72 million VND for the entire course; loan term 88 months, with preferential interest rate of 4.8%/year. This is the first case to receive STEM loan capital in the commune, creating conditions for students to cover expenses so that they can study with peace of mind.
