According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the first 8 months of 2025, Khanh Hoa welcomed about 279,000 Russian visitors, an increase of 294.9% over the same period in 2024. This is considered an important driving force to help the local tourism industry recover, affirming its position as a leading international destination.

Currently, there are about 30 flights per week from many Russian cities to Cam Ranh International Airport. From October, Nordwind plans to cooperate with Pegas Misr Vietnam Travel to operate 18 - 22 flights/month from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Vladivostok, Ekaterinburg, Khabarovsk, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, bringing about 6,800 Russian passengers/month to Khanh Hoa.

A series of direct flights have been restored, contributing to increasing the number of Russian tourists to Khanh Hoa.

With the current growth momentum, it is likely that in 2025, Khanh Hoa will surpass the record of 463,000 Russian visitors achieved in 2019, continuing to affirm its brand as Vietnam's leading international resort destination.

In the first 9 months of 2025, Khanh Hoa tourism industry welcomed more than 14.1 million overnight visitors, up 16.5% over the same period, reaching 89.9% of the yearly plan. Of which, international visitors reached more than 4.3 million, up 18.7% and reaching 79.8% of the plan, domestic visitors reached more than 9.8 million, up 15.6% and reaching 95.2% of the plan. Total revenue from tourism activities is estimated at more than VND 56,540 billion, up 19.2% over the same period in 2024, reaching 85.1% of the 2025 plan.
