Khanh Hoa renews Sailing Club's business license on Nha Trang beach

The Sailing Club area on the east side of Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang City of Nha Trang Sailing Club Joint Venture Company Limited (Sailing Club Nha Trang) was leased by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee over 2,369 square ^{meters of} Nha Trang beach park land since March 2005, to be used as commercial service land, tourism services, restaurants, and bars.

In 2023, Khanh Hoa province granted an extension to the Sailing Club Nha Trang restaurant business. The extended lease term for the land for business on Nha Trang beach also expired on December 31, 2023.

However, after the above-mentioned land lease term expired, the owner of Sailing Club Nha Trang and the director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Khanh Hoa province continued to send documents and petitions to the province to request another extension.

According to that proposal, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just decided to adjust the old extension decision, allowing Nha Trang Sailing Club Joint Venture Company Limited to extend the use period of the entire Nha Trang beach land area that has been leased for business (more than ^2,369m2 ) for nearly 20 years to continue doing business until December 31, 2024.

When the province reclaims the land, the Sailing Club owner must move and return the land to Nha Trang beach.

According to the decisions to extend the lease of land for business on Nha Trang beach at the Sailing Club area, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has stipulated that Nha Trang Sailing Club Joint Venture Company Limited is responsible for using the land for the right purpose and in accordance with the current status, and fulfilling its financial obligations to the State.

At the same time, according to the decision of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, the owner of Sailing Club must "comply with the relocation and handover of the land when there is a notice of land reclamation (including during the period of using the leased land) and not request compensation".
