Inauguration of India Corner in Ninh Thuan

On the morning of September 23, at the Provincial Library, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the Inauguration Ceremony of the Indian Corner in Ninh Thuan . Attending were Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of India and representatives of leaders of several departments, branches and sectors.

The Indian Corner in Ninh Thuan is located at the Provincial Library, displaying and introducing more than 100 books and documents on the fields of culture, society, economics , education, tourism, etc. Thereby, meeting the need to learn and access information related to the country and people of India, including many fields to introduce and promote the image of India to the people, intellectuals, researchers, students, and tourists in the locality. All equipment and documents of the Indian Corner are supported by the Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City to demonstrate the close relationship of Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of India with Ninh Thuan province during his time working and having just completed his duties, ending a successful working term in Vietnam.

Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of India and leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Indian Corner in Ninh Thuan.

It is known that recently, India has sponsored the construction of the Cham Community House in Bau Truc, Phuoc Dan Town (Ninh Phuoc). Ninh Thuan Province has also had 2 art troupes come to India for exchanges and performances. The province has also welcomed Indian dance troupes for exchanges; Indian Famtrip groups to survey tourism.
