Groundbreaking ceremony for charity houses for policy beneficiaries and families in difficult circumstances

This afternoon, March 29, at Nai Cuu village, Trieu Thanh commune, Trieu Phong district, the Standing Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union coordinated with Tien Phong Newspaper and Vietnam Tobacco Corporation to organize the groundbreaking ceremony to build 10 charity houses for former Youth Volunteers and people in difficult circumstances in the province.

The charity houses built this time are distributed in the following districts and towns: Trieu Phong (1 house), Hai Lang (1 house), Quang Tri town (2 houses), Gio Linh (1 house), Vinh Linh (2 houses), Huong Hoa (3 houses). Each charity house is supported with 60 million VND.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee conducted the groundbreaking ceremony to build a charity house for Ms. Hoang Thi Suu, 63 years old, in Nai Cuu village, Trieu Thanh commune, Trieu Phong district. Ms. Suu belongs to a near-poor, single household, has no stable livelihood and has had to live at her brother's house for many years. Therefore, the charity house built this time will meet her housing and living needs and contribute to helping Ms. Suu overcome difficulties in life soon.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of 10 charity houses this time is in response to the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025" launched by the Prime Minister and the message "Millions of loving hearts, thousands of happy homes" of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front with the determination to not let any people live in temporary or dilapidated houses.
