The name Vo Thi Ngoc Ngan (nickname Ngan 98) - a female DJ famous for her lavish lifestyle and "huge" assets has become the focus of public opinion when she was prosecuted and temporarily detained by the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency for the crime of producing and trading in counterfeit food products.
According to information from the authorities, this female DJ born in 1998 is the operator of ZuBu Company Limited (her biological mother is the director) and ZuBu shop, which produces and distributes weight loss functional food products, notably collagen vegetable pills - an item she livestreams selling at "cutthroat" prices on social networking platforms.
After more than 4 months of verification, the police discovered signs of serious violations, causing harm to consumers' health, with revenue up to hundreds of billions of dong. In the initial statement, Ngan 98 blamed the production unit for "being too trusting" without checking, but the investigation agency is expanding the verification, including the role of close people.
Before falling into the net of the law, Ngan 98 used to show off her life with her husband - singer Luong Bang Quang, from billion-dollar supercars to many real estates. But behind that halo, the noisy scandals and diverse sources of income are being questioned.
Attracting attention in the showbiz world since 2016 as a model and runner-up of Miss Vietnam Business, Ngan 98 later switched to being a DJ. With her attractive appearance, she regularly performs at large and small events with a salary ranging from 70-100 million VND.
Other sources of income come from cosmetics, dietary supplements and advertising contracts, helping her accumulate a fortune that "overwhelms" the public. It is estimated that her total assets can reach hundreds of billions of VND, mainly from DJing, beauty business and real estate investment.

In 2022, Ngan 98 revealed her real estate investment, she and her husband Luong Bang Quang deposited 21 billion VND to buy 9 plots of land at the same time in potential areas in Ho Chi Minh City, along with "red books" that were widely shown on social networks. By 2023, the female DJ continued to "flex" a penthouse worth 80 billion VND with luxurious interiors and a "million dollar" city view.
Ngan 98 once rewarded herself on her birthday with a Maserati MC20 convertible supercar worth about 22 billion VND, along with other luxury cars such as the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4Matic Coupe, making her a symbol of luxury in the DJ world.
In their married life, Luong Bang Quang often supports Ngan 98 by participating in livestream sales, even "acting" humorously to increase interaction. In recent years, Luong Bang Quang has reduced his musical activities to accompany Ngan, from performing together to investing in real estate together. However, the couple cannot avoid scandals: from accusations of "living a virtual life" to controversies about their private lives, making them known as "the most stable scandalous couple in Vietnamese showbiz".
Currently, after his wife was arrested, Luong Bang Quang was also summoned by the police to clarify his role in Ngan 98's business activities. There have been no official charges, and the male singer has remained silent on social media. The married life that was once boasted of being "perfectly happy" is now facing suspicions related to illegal business.
