National Agricultural Extension supports people to restore production

On October 14, the National Agricultural Extension Center coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Thai Nguyen province to deploy activities to support and guide farmers in Dong Hy commune to restore production after the storm.

Technical staff instruct farmers on the technique of spreading lime around the banks and bottom of aquaculture ponds.

Professional staff provide technical guidance on caring for livestock and poultry after floods.

Accordingly, people affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11 in Dong Hy commune were instructed by experts on how to reinforce pond banks, spread lime around the banks and bottom of aquaculture ponds; how to use biological products to treat the environment; techniques for caring for livestock and poultry after floods and some notes for re-herding in the coming time.

In addition, local people are also instructed on techniques to restore tea and fruit trees after flooding.

The National Center for Agricultural Extension donated environmental disinfectants and Que Lam microbial fertilizers.

On this occasion, the National Agricultural Extension Center presented households in Dong Hy commune with 250 liters of disinfectant to disinfect the barn environment, 200 liters of EM products to treat the environment, and 20 tons of Que Lam microbial fertilizer.
