Majestic Ta Dung Lake

Although it is an artificial lake, Ta Dung Lake has a water surface area of thousands of hectares. In the middle of the immense lake are dozens of large and small islands, so many people compare Ta Dung to "Ha Long Bay of the Central Highlands".

Ta Dung Lake is located on the border between Dak Nong and Lam Dong provinces with a water surface area of 3,600 hectares and over 40 large and small islands. Having the opportunity to take a boat trip on the lake, visitors cannot help but be impressed by the magnificence that nature has created.

Ta Dung Lake is located in the Ta Dung National Park, Dak Glong District. The predecessor of this unit is Ta Dung Nature Reserve, established in 2003.

Ta Dung Lake was formed by the construction of hydroelectric plants on the Dong Nai river basin. After these plants stored water for operation, many hills in the border area of Dak Nong and Lam Dong were flooded, forming Ta Dung Lake.

Being a mountain lake, the water is always clear and blue. The flooded hills are a fresh green. From many angles, visitors can feel that Ta Dung has a very unique beauty, one can never get tired of looking at it.

In recent years, the Ta Dung lake area has been planned by Dak Nong province for eco -tourism development. While the government has not yet implemented it, local people have developed various types of sightseeing and resort tourism in the Ta Dung lake area.
