Lam Dong urges progress of 6 traffic projects in the Southeast of the province

On October 20, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai inspected 6 traffic projects in the Southeast of the province.

The projects inspected this time are: Project to upgrade and expand Ba Ta - Tra Tan road; Project to build a road from Tan Minh commune to Son My commune; Project to avoid DT.719 and bridge over Dinh river, La Gi ward; Project to build coastal axis DT.719B, Hon Lan - Tan Hai section; Project to build new coastal axis DT.719B, Phan Thiet - Ke Ga section; Project to build Van Thanh bridge on Ca Ty river in Tien Thanh ward and Binh Thuan ward.

Specifically, the project to upgrade and expand Ba Ta - Tra Tan road has a length of 15.1km, roadbed width of 7.5m, road surface width of 6.5m. The road surface structure is asphalt concrete, the shoulder is made of earth, there is a drainage system and traffic safety is ensured.

The total investment of the project is 102,165 billion VND from the provincial budget. The implementation period is until the end of 2025. The project is currently under construction at 98% of the contract volume. To date, the project has disbursed 22,286 billion VND, reaching a rate of 69.43%.

Tan Hai - Hon Lan route

The road project from Tan Minh commune to Son My commune has a total length of 23.71km. The road surface structure is asphalt concrete. The project implements the renovation of 3 reinforced concrete bridges including: Song Dinh bridge 82.2m long, Song Gieng bridge 82.1m long and Tan Duc bridge 107.5m long. At the same time, investment is made in lighting system, water supply and drainage, traffic safety and auxiliary items.

The total investment of the project is 682.26 billion VND; of which, the central budget is 348 billion VND, the provincial budget for the period 2026 - 2030 is 334.26 billion VND. The project implementation period is 4 years. The project is expected to be completed in September 2027.

The project of DT.719 bypass and bridge over Dinh river, La Gi ward has a length of 6,820.4m. The project has a total investment of 212.9 billion VND. The project implementation period is 4 years, expected to be completed in 2028. To date, the project has disbursed 15,178 billion VND, reaching a rate of 30.25%.

Van Thanh Bridge is under construction.

The DT.719B coastal axis project, Hon Lan - Tan Hai section, has a total length of about 10.4km. The total investment of the project is 663,883 billion VND. Currently, the project site has been handed over about 94%, meeting the construction plan.

The project to renovate the coastal axis road DT.719B, Phan Thiet - Ke Ga section, has a length of 25.61km, a roadbed width of 28m, a road surface width of 16m, a median strip of 11m, and a reinforced shoulder width of 0.5m on each side. The total investment of the project is 1,274,317 billion VND.

The Van Thanh Bridge project is located on the Ca Ty River in Tien Thanh Ward and Binh Thuan Ward. The total investment of the project is 225.2 billion VND from the central budget, the implementation period is 4 years. To date, the project has completed about 55% of the contract volume.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai directed communes to handle problems related to land for projects.

Through inspection, it is shown that most of the projects are stuck with land clearance, no land price, no landowner found... Currently, only La Gi ward and Phuoc Hoi ward have progress in compensation and clearance as planned and have implemented land price.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai directed Suoi Kiet commune to speed up the progress and complete the compensation work for the project to upgrade and expand Ba Ta - Tra Tan road before December 31, 2025. For the communes: Ham Tan, Son My, Tan Minh need to immediately coordinate with the Branch of the Land Fund Development Center 1 of Lam Dong province to focus on land pricing to soon apply compensation prices to households.

The coastal axis project DT.719B Hon Lan - Tan Hai section has the land available, so it is necessary to increase human resources and machinery to keep up with the construction progress. The Department of Agriculture and Environment supports the procedures to change the purpose of use for the forest land part of the project.

Regarding the Van Thanh Bridge Project, due to the problem of alluvial land and the people's disagreement on the land price difference, it has caused delays for the construction unit. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned Tien Thanh Ward and related units to promptly review and apply compensation prices for the remaining 8 households according to regulations, in order to ensure construction progress as well as capital disbursement...
