The tastes of local Indian tourists focus on tourism products such as sightseeing, agriculture, culture - tradition, nature exploration, vegetarian and vegan cuisine, in line with the ecological advantages and cultural identity of the Da Lat - Lam Dong plateau.

To effectively exploit the South Asian market, Lam Dong proposed a series of key solutions: enhancing two-way information exchange between tourism management agencies of Vietnam and India, creating conditions for connecting travel businesses, organizing promotion programs - promoting destinations in India. At the same time, developing friendly Halal products, meeting the specific needs of South Asian customers.

According to statistics, the number of Indian visitors to Vietnam will grow impressively from 138,000 in 2022 to 392,000 in 2023 and reach 501,000 in 2024 - an increase of 2.6 times in just two years, maintaining its position in the Top 10 largest international tourist markets of Vietnam.
