For the first time, the Ministry of Transport's Youth Union had a member admitted to the Party at a construction site.

Participating in the construction of the Traffic Connection Project for the Northern mountainous provinces ( Yen Bai , Lao Cai, Lai Chau), many young cadres were honored to be admitted to the Party at the construction site.

On the afternoon of December 6, at the construction site of the Northern mountainous provinces traffic connection project in Lai Chau province, the Party admission ceremony took place. Project Management Board 2 ( Ministry of Transport ) and Youth Union of the Ministry of Transport organized.

Unable to contain his emotions when taking the oath before the national flag, the Party flag and the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh, young engineer Pham Tien Dung vowed to be loyal to the Party's ideals and revolutionary goals, determined to excellently fulfill all tasks of a Party member; promised to continue to strive and train more in political qualities and mettle to successfully complete assigned tasks.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Giao Linh, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Transport, said: "The activity of admitting young party members right at the construction site is a meaningful activity, recognizing the contributions and efforts of young workers during the project construction process.

At the same time, this activity also adds spiritual strength to the union members and youth who are working day and night at traffic construction sites across the country."

The project connecting the Northern mountainous provinces includes two routes with a total length of about 199.77km. Currently, about 80 construction sites are being implemented in 11/11 bidding packages across the entire project.

The total cumulative construction output of the project to date has reached 1,902 billion VND, equivalent to 50.57% of the construction value according to the contracts (3,762.1 billion VND). The project's construction progress basically meets the plan.
