Provincial People's Committee leaders work with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to resolve land problems in the province.

On March 6, in Hanoi, the Ninh Thuan Provincial Working Group led by Mr. Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, worked with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) to resolve a number of difficulties and problems related to the land sector in the province.

At the working session, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to guide a number of specific contents such as: Determining expenses in the total development cost of the surplus method; validity period of specific land prices; determining land prices according to the surplus method for cases of land allocation according to compensation, support and resettlement progress; authority to adjust decisions on land recovery, land allocation, land lease, permission to change land use purposes; implementing the establishment and adjustment of district-level land use planning to ensure consistency and conformity with provincial planning and security land use planning...

After listening to the recommendations, representatives of the Department of Planning and Land Resources Development and the Department of Land Data Registration and Information provided guidance, answered and discussed the province's problems according to the provisions of land law and related laws.

Speaking at the working session, Deputy Minister Le Minh Ngan emphasized that the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is always ready to support and coordinate with localities to remove difficulties related to state management of natural resources and environment in the spirit of ensuring legal regulations, helping localities attract investment and develop socio -economy. Acknowledging the difficulties of Ninh Thuan province, the Deputy Minister said that many remaining issues are due to the current land law and have been resolved in the Land Law 2024, which will take effect on January 1, 2025. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will study and supplement the draft decrees guiding implementation to resolve the issues. The Deputy Minister also requested the Department of Planning and Land Resources Development to respond in writing to localities; units under the Ministry to strengthen coordination and remove difficulties of Ninh Thuan province so that localities can promptly promote land resources, contributing to socio-economic development.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, thanked the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for its support and coordination in resolving local difficulties and problems, especially the guidance and solutions at the meeting. The province will continue to contribute ideas to the draft decree guiding the implementation of the Land Law, thereby resolving local difficulties, as well as other provinces and cities across the country. At the same time, he hopes that in the coming time, he will continue to receive support, coordination and assistance from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment so that the locality can do better in land management, contributing to further promoting the socio-economic development process in the province.
