World Cup billiards schedule on June 30: 4 Vietnamese players compete excitingly

On June 30, the 2025 Porto 3-cushion carom billiards World Cup continued to compete in the second qualifying round. This round had 4 Vietnamese players participating.

Nguyen Dinh Luan is the first Vietnamese player to take the field at the 2025 Porto Billiards World Cup, competing from the first qualifying round. Accordingly, Dinh Luan excellently won the group with 2 wins to advance. The Vietnamese player defeated Joaquim Mendes (30-20) and Fernando Cunha (30-23).

Thus, in the second qualifying round of the Porto 2024 Billiards World Cup, there are 4 Vietnamese players competing, including: Dinh Luan, Nguyen Chi Long, Nguyen Hoan Tat and Thon Viet Hoang Minh. Of which, Chi Long, Hoan Tat and Hoang Minh are the 3 names that were determined from the beginning to appear from the second qualifying round.

Hoang Minh is in group E with Jorge Costa (Portugal) and Henk Blauwblomme (Belgium). Dinh Luan is in group H with two German players: Tom Lowe, Marcel Back. Hoan Tat is in group I with Herbert Szivacz (Austria) and Jean Reverchon (France). Chi Long is in group P with Lukas Mortensen (Denmark) and Carlos Crespo (Spain).

Nguyen Dinh Luan and Thon Viet Hoang Minh will play at the same time (Vietnam time): 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. today (June 30).

Meanwhile, Nguyen Hoan Tat and Nguyen Chi Long will compete in two time slots (Vietnam time): 9:30 p.m. today (June 30) and 0:30 a.m. (July 1).
