The 1st Congress of Women's Delegates of Lac Dao Commune

On the afternoon of October 7, the Women's Union of Lac Dao commune held its first Congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term.

Lac Dao Commune Women's Union currently has 21 branches with more than 5,300 members. In the past term, the Commune Women's Union actively propagated and mobilized members to effectively implement the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era" and the campaign "Building families of 5 no, 3 clean". The Commune Women's Union presented over 1,000 gifts to women and children in difficult circumstances on the occasion of holidays and Tet; connected with agencies, businesses, and philanthropists to sponsor 22 orphans in difficult circumstances. The whole commune has 21/21 branches that established sports and folk dance clubs, 21 trusted addresses to support women and girls who suffer from domestic violence. The Commune Women's Union has pledged with banks to support over 1,500 women members with preferential loans for economic development; Supported the construction and repair of 8 houses for women's union members with a total amount of over 220 million VND...

In the 2025-2030 term, the Lac Dao Commune Women's Union strives to introduce jobs to at least 15 workers every year, each branch helps at least 1 female household escape poverty; 100% of women participate in health insurance; 100% of cadres, members, and women aged 18 and over are equipped with basic digital skills...

At the Congress, the decisions of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Lac Dao Commune Women's Union were announced; and delegates were appointed to attend the higher-level congress.
