Although their owners moved their cars to a place considered safe, many private cars were still severely damaged when storm No. 10 made landfall with winds gusting above level 12.

During the previous storms No. 3 and No. 5, many car owners were heartbroken when their cars were flooded, had broken windows, and were severely damaged even though they were parked in the lobby of a shopping mall. Learning from experience, before Storm No. 10 made landfall, people in Ha Tinh and Nghe An proactively moved their cars to places considered safe, such as gas station grounds, park yards, or covered garages.

However, due to the strong intensity of storm No. 10 and its long duration, many cars were still damaged by falling walls, roofs, and old trees. In Ha Tinh, some cars parked in the hotel lobby were hit by falling advertising signs and broken tiles, causing broken windows and severe damage. In Nghe An, a super luxury Maybach also suffered a similar fate when it was hit by falling corrugated iron.
