Civil defense force competes in firefighting, rescue and relief skills

This morning, December 28, the People's Committee of Dong Ha City organized a firefighting and rescue competition for the civil defense force in 2023.

Participating in the competition, 70 athletes from the civil defense force of 9 wards in Dong Ha City went through the following competitions: using firefighting equipment; firefighting and rescue skills and tactics; overcoming obstacles, coordinating rescue, moving assets...

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to Dong Luong ward team; second prize to Ward 5 team; third prize to Ward 1 and Ward 2 teams.

Deputy Head of Dong Ha City Police, Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Kim Phuong said: “The contest is an opportunity for the local militia to improve their ability to operate and skillfully use the equipped fire-fighting equipment and tools; train their physical strength, skills, techniques, fire-fighting and rescue tactics to be ready to respond promptly when a fire or explosion occurs.

At the same time, it is an opportunity for the fire fighting and rescue forces at the grassroots level to meet and exchange experiences and skills in fire prevention, fighting and rescue work.
