Hanoi Book Fair 2025 takes place from today (October 2) at Hoan Kiem Lake walking space

The 10th Hanoi Book Fair, directed by the Hanoi People's Committee and implemented by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports , is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), and the 71st anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025).

This is also an opportunity to promote the nation's historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions, arouse patriotism, self-reliance, national solidarity and the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country; be proud of the thousand-year-old heroic and cultural tradition of Thang Long - Hanoi; thereby, continue to effectively promote activities to develop reading culture, build and encourage reading habits and develop the reading movement in the community, towards building a learning society, contributing to building elegant and civilized Hanoians.

The book fair includes booths displaying and introducing domestic and foreign books and publications with attractive content from publishing and distribution units.

During the Hanoi Book Fair, there were many author exchange activities and thematic discussions with famous writers, listening to and sharing and discovering new perspectives on culture, history and life.

The highlight of the Hanoi Book Fair 2025 is to bring readers and visitors new experiences with digital transformation applications in publishing and cultural industry activities. These include the Thang Long Thousand-Year-Old Culture Bookcase, the electronic version of the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Bookcase; Q&A interaction with the AI Turtle; VR360 virtual reality experience; interactive GIS application to look up information about the latest 34 provinces and cities, view digital maps; mobile library...

There are also many creative check-in spaces, impressively designed, bearing the mark of Hanoi past and present, promising to become an attractive destination for locals and tourists to visit and experience.
