Chuyen My Commune: Opening of Lifelong Learning Response Week

HNP - On October 1, the People's Committee of Chuyen My commune opened the Lifelong Learning Response Week, commending and rewarding students with high achievements in the High School Graduation Exam and 10th grade admission for the 2025-2026 school year.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Lifelong Learning Week 2025, Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Chuyen My Commune, Nguyen Thi Thuy Huong, emphasized: Lifelong Learning Week is not only an occasion to honor the spirit of learning, but also a reminder that learning does not stop at school, but is a lifelong journey.

Studying is not only to get a degree, but also to develop personality, master life, master technology and make practical contributions to the homeland and country. Chuyen My has long been famous as a land of studiousness and rich cultural traditions.

Over the past years, with the attention, leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels, and the responsible coordination of departments, branches and organizations, the emulation movement of good teaching and good learning in the commune has grown stronger and stronger. In particular, many exemplary students have strived to excel, achieved high academic results, and become the pride of their families, schools and hometowns.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the quality of key and mass education of schools in the area continues to be affirmed and achieves many impressive results. Many students won high prizes in City-level excellent student competitions; actively participated in competitions and won many national and international prizes; the rate of students passing the entrance exams to colleges and universities is increasingly high.

Notably, 10 students won prizes in cultural subjects at the City level; many students won international and national prizes in the TIOMO and FMO Math competitions, national life skills competitions, and participated in City-level Sports and won 6 medals.

The results of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year showed that the percentage of students passing the public 10th grade exam was 97.9%, an increase of 2.36% compared to the previous school year. Of which, 30 students scored 25 points or more. In the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam, the percentage of high school graduates was 99.96%.

Along with that, the whole commune has 14 students taking the entrance exam to grade 10 high school with scores of 26 points or higher. 33 students passed the entrance exam to universities with scores of 26 points or higher.

Responding to the Lifelong Learning Week 2025, Chuyen My has developed and issued a plan to organize activities for the week from October 1 to October 7, 2025 with specific activities suitable to the actual situation of each unit. The theme of the Week: "Learning to develop yourself, mastering knowledge and technology, contributing to building a strong and prosperous country".

During the week, focus on promoting propaganda about the role of self-study and lifelong learning associated with proactive mastery of knowledge and technology; Organizing training classes, fostering basic and advanced digital skills for all subjects; Introducing and guiding the use of online learning platforms, mobile applications and digital learning resources.

Launch a movement to build digital libraries and digital bookcases at educational institutions and in the community; Organize competitions and experiential activities on digital technology and new knowledge; Organize activities connecting schools and businesses on the occasion of the Week, and provide career orientation for students at educational institutions.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Chuyen My commune awarded 47 students with high scores in the 10th grade entrance exam and the 2025 high school graduation exam; and also commended 3 students with good jobs.
