From October 14 to 16, in Phuoc Chi commune, Tay Ninh province, heavy rain flooded and knocked down more than 0.6 hectares of ripe rice of farmers in Phuoc Hoa hamlet, putting people at risk of losing everything.
As soon as they grasped the situation, officers and soldiers of Phuoc Chi Border Post (Tay Ninh Provincial Border Guard Command) coordinated with the militia of Phuoc Chi commune to go to the fields to help people harvest.
Amidst the muddy water, sometimes scorching sun, sometimes pouring rain, each officer and soldier always maintained the spirit of urgency to save the rice. After nearly a day, the entire flooded rice area was harvested and brought home to the people.
