The reason why Vietnam Drama Theater does not have a Director position yet

(Dan Tri) - Meritorious Artist Kieu Minh Hieu - Deputy Director of the Vietnam Drama Theater - said that after People's Artist Xuan Bac transferred his job, this unit made a request to restructure the leadership personnel from local sources.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Meritorious Artist Kieu Minh Hieu said that during the time of implementing personnel restructuring of the Vietnam Drama Theater, he will be responsible for managing the operations of this unit.

According to Meritorious Artist Kieu Minh Hieu, in November 2024, the Vietnam Drama Theater submitted a proposal to request approval to complete leadership personnel from local sources, but because the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is preparing to merge a number of units from the old Ministry of Information and Communications, a decision on theater personnel will only be made in the near future.

"At the end of March, we will make another report to complete the theater's leadership. According to the structure, the theater will have 3 Deputy Directors, but now there is only me, so there is a lot of work and we have to ask for continuous support from our colleagues," said Meritorious Artist Kieu Minh Hieu.

Meritorious Artist Kieu Minh Hieu (born 1975) has been associated with the Vietnam Drama Theater for more than 20 years. He received the title of Meritorious Artist in 2019 and has held the position of Deputy Director of the Vietnam Drama Theater since 2020.
