Baekhyun spontaneously sang to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival, greeting Vietnamese audiences in a unique way

(Dan Tri) - Baekhyun (EXO) delighted Vietnamese audiences when he sang Mid-Autumn Festival songs and spoke Vietnamese at a music night in Hanoi.

On the evening of October 4, My Dinh Athletics Palace (Hanoi) became the center of attention for fans when Baekhyun (member of EXO) officially brought his personal tour to Vietnam, with a music night called Reverie in Hanoi.

This is the singer's long-awaited comeback after the success of the Lonsdaleite concert, which sold out just minutes after going on sale.

When Baekhyun appeared on stage, the audience immediately exploded with enthusiastic cheers and applause from the Vietnamese audience. The male singer conquered his fans with a series of hits such as Candy, Bambi, UN Village, Cry For Love, Chocolate... and many new songs.

With vibrant background music, he sang live and performed powerful dance moves, even though the weather in Hanoi on the evening of October 4 was quite hot and stuffy.

Because the concert took place on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival, the Vietnamese fan community surprised their idol by bringing along their signature star lanterns.

When thousands of light sticks blend with the shimmering colors of lanterns, the entire stage shines like a "sea of ​​stars" in the Hanoi sky, creating a rare scene.

During the exchange, Vietnamese fans sent their Mid-Autumn wishes through a video shown on the big screen. Immediately after, the familiar melody of the song Chiec dang o sao (Star Lantern) suddenly sounded, blending with the voices of nearly ten thousand spectators.

Baekhyun seemed extremely excited, spontaneously sang along to a part and then laughed and said: "This melody is so good!". He curiously asked the audience about the meaning of Mid-Autumn lanterns and was surprised to learn that this is a long-standing tradition of Vietnam.

“It’s amazing, the song is so cute, and so are you guys,” he said. The whole stadium erupted in cheers.

One of the funniest moments of the night was when Baekhyun bowed to his fans in many different styles. The male singer created many versions, even following the trend of "greeting the boss" that is popular on TikTok Vietnam, making the atmosphere filled with laughter.

When the audience shouted out loud, "Baekhyun is so cute," he immediately responded with aegyo (a cute, mischievous expression typical of Korean artists).

In addition to the humorous interactions, Baekhyun repeatedly thanked the audience in Vietnamese. Phrases like: “Hello Vietnam!”, “I am so happy!” or “Thank you so much!” were responded by fans with applause and cheers, ending the interaction in a warm and emotional atmosphere.

Due to the unfavorable weather, Baekhyun had a hard time singing and performing continuous dance moves on the outdoor stage. Many times, he burst out laughing, breathing and saying in a mixture of Korean and English: "It's so hot!". The male singer continuously wiped his sweat, sharing that because he had to perform in the hot weather, his skin became red and itchy due to sweating a lot.

However, Baekhyun quickly reassured the audience and continued to perform with professionalism and explosive energy. The image of the male singer persistently singing live, maintaining his form despite his sweat-soaked shirt made the audience at My Dinh love him even more.

Many audiences shared that Reverie in Hanoi was the most special concert they had ever attended with many unforgettable moments.

“The image of the lanterns being lit while Baekhyun sang was really touching. It was like a spiritual gift in the middle of the moon season,” Thanh Hang, an audience member of the music night, shared.

Baekhyun (born 1992) is the main vocalist of the Korean boy band EXO, a member of the subgroup EXO-CBX and leader of the project group SuperM, under SM Entertainment.

Debuting in 2012, he quickly became one of the outstanding members thanks to his powerful voice, solid technique and bright stage appearance.
