Brought a gun to 'settle the score', shot and injured drinking friend's wife in Ha Tinh

On the afternoon of October 22, the leader of the People's Committee of Xuan Thanh commune (Nghi Xuan, Ha Tinh ) said that an incident had just occurred in the area where a subject used an air gun to shoot and injure a woman.

Specifically, at around 9:30 p.m. on October 20, Nguyen Van C. (born in 1997, residing in Xuan Thanh commune) was drinking with a group of friends at BP restaurant in Xuan Thanh commune.

During the drinking party, C. had a conflict with his drinking buddy, TVP (living in the same commune). After finishing the party, on the way home, the two continued to argue, leading to a fight. Tran Ngoc T. (sitting at the same drinking table) saw this and intervened.

However, C. thought that Mr. T. tried to stop him to help Mr. P. beat him, so he went home to get an air gun and went to Mr. T.'s house to "settle the score".

At this time, Ms. Pham Thi D. (born 1996, wife of Mr. T.) went to close the gate of the house when Cong used an air gun to shoot her in the stomach, causing this woman to collapse on the spot.

After committing the crime, C. fled. Ms. D. was taken to Nghe An General Hospital for emergency treatment by her family.

Currently, Nghi Xuan District Police are investigating, clarifying, and at the same time persuading Nguyen Van C. to surrender.
