On the morning of September 27, the leader of Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company Limited said that in order to cope with the heavy rain caused by storm Bualoi (storm No. 10) in the coming days, the unit has issued a notice on the operation and regulation of Ke Go reservoir to ensure the safety of the project.

According to the unit's records at 7:00 a.m. on September 26, the elevation of Ke Go Lake was 27.48/32.5m, equivalent to a capacity of 213.3/345 million m3 , reaching 61.83% of the design.

Due to the forecast of complicated storm and rain situation, from 8:00 a.m. on September 27, Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company Limited increased the water flow regulation through Doc Mieu spillway, with a flow rate of 20-120m3 /second.

Along with Ke Go Lake, Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company Limited will simultaneously operate spillway discharge at 4 large reservoirs in the province, including: Song Rac, Kim Son, Tau Voi, and Khe Xai lakes.

The spillway discharge started at 8am on September 27, with a flow rate of 3-80m3 /second.

The time to end the overflow of the above reservoirs is based on weather conditions and lake water levels.

To ensure the safety of people in the downstream area, Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company Limited requests that localities within the affected area urgently notify and guide people to implement safety measures, avoiding carelessness and subjectivity during the reservoir's operation and regulation.
