Since the afternoon, the yard of the Ta So 2 village cultural house has been bustling with the laughter of parents who came to set up the welcome gate, display the food trays, and hang lanterns; surrounded by children chattering, playing and waiting for the time to carry the lanterns and break the food. In a colorful traditional national dress, Mua Phuong Thao, a first grader with a star-shaped lantern in her hand, happily said: This year's Mid-Autumn Festival, I am very happy because this is the first time I get to watch the lion dance, carry the lanterns with my friends, and even have moon cakes.

Ta So is a highland village of Moc Chau ward with 100% Mong ethnic people living there. The Mid-Autumn Festival in the village is also an opportunity for the community to become more united; each person contributes a hand, some set up the stage, some prepare lanterns, some teach children to practice performing arts, everyone happily takes on their tasks with the desire to bring the children in the village a meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival.

Excitedly participating in preparing the stage, Mr. Mua A Re, Ta So 2 village, shared: People here mainly work in the fields, life is still difficult, so the village has never organized a Mid-Autumn Festival focusing on children. Thanks to the attention of the government and organizations, this year the children in the village will be able to carry lanterns, break cakes, watch lion dances, not only children but also adults are eager to participate.

As the full moon gradually rose, the sound of lion drums echoed throughout the village. In the yard, the lion dance team stirred up the atmosphere with their vibrant performances; the children enthusiastically performed, were excited with the riddles and then broke the cake together in joy. Then, hundreds of lanterns were lit brightly, one after another on the village road, making the space bright and warm.

To organize the "Mid-Autumn Festival for Children" program in Ta So 2 village, Moc Chau ward mobilized social resources to buy candies and lanterns. Associations and organizations coordinated with the people in the village to organize the program. Mr. Do Tri Dung, Vice Chairman of Moc Chau ward People's Committee, said: Through the Mid-Autumn Festival in Ta So 2 village, the ward People's Committee hopes to create a space to connect the community, so that children can have fun and feel love. This is also an activity that demonstrates responsibility to the community, society, care and support for children, especially those in difficult circumstances, so that all children have the opportunity to develop comprehensively both physically and mentally.

Saying goodbye to Ta So 2, but the images, smiles, and innocent eyes of children on the Mid-Autumn Festival night still linger. Hopefully, the children here will have more joyful and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festivals, so that they will have more motivation and joy to study and practice.
