Meo Vac supports 118 million VND for ethnic minority women to give birth according to policy

Implementing Decree 39/2015/ND-CP, dated April 27, 2015 of the Government, as of October 2025, in Meo Vac commune, there were 59 women from poor households who were ethnic minorities giving birth in accordance with the population policy and received support money with a total cost of 118 million VND.

According to Decree 39, the beneficiaries are ethnic minority women or Kinh women whose husbands are ethnic minorities and are poor households, residing in administrative units in difficult areas when giving birth in one of the following cases: Giving birth for the third time or more if at the time of birth there is only one biological child alive, including biological children given up for adoption; giving birth to one or two children; giving birth for the first time with three or more children... The support level is 2 million VND/person.
