Military Region I Command presents military uniforms to support the people of Bac Ninh

Here, the delegation directly presented 3,000 tulle curtains, 3,000 printed blanket covers, 500 sets of military uniforms; directly visited, encouraged, and gave gifts to the people of Ngoc Tri residential group, Da Mai ward.

Ngoc Tri residential group currently has 127 households and 560 people who are deeply submerged in floodwaters. Along with Ngoc Tri, two other residential groups, Dong La and Tien Dinh, of Da Mai ward, are also isolated due to deep flooding since October 7th.

Here, Major General Nguyen Van Lich visited and encouraged the cadres and people of Da Mai ward; at the same time, he emphasized that although the amount of military equipment to support the people of Bac Ninh province was not much, he shared the difficulties and hardships of the people affected by storm No. 11.

Colonel Tran Viet Nang, Political Commissar of the Bac Ninh Provincial Military Command, respectfully thanked the Ministry of National Defense in general and Military Region I in particular for their support in terms of material and spiritual matters to the people affected by storms and floods. At the same time, Colonel Tran Viet Nang affirmed that the entire amount of military equipment will be quickly delivered to the people by the Provincial Military Command in coordination with localities and units, especially in areas that are still flooded. The process of allocating support resources must ensure publicity, transparency, and the right target.

Previously, due to the impact of storm No. 11, Bac Ninh province experienced heavy rain and rising floodwaters, threatening the safety of dykes, people's lives and property. With the spirit of "serving the people", the Bac Ninh Provincial Military Forces took the lead in storm and flood prevention.

Specifically, thousands of officers and soldiers coordinated with coordinated units, militia and self-defense forces and shock forces to actively handle areas of broken dikes in Tien Luc commune, flooding in Yen The and Bo Ha communes, and overflowing dikes in Viet Yen and Tan Yen areas; reinforced dikes, supported the movement of people and property; supplied food, overcame the consequences of storms and floods... At key points, officers and employees of the agency block, together with militia and people, built sacks of earth, reinforced dikes, transported materials, supported the relocation of property... All were urgent, rhythmic, disciplined, imbued with the sentiment of the army and people.

Along with the forces of the Provincial Military Command, the forces of the Army units stationed in the area also actively participate in the work of preventing, combating and responding to storms and floods to join the government in flood prevention, handling dike incidents, rescuing, supporting people to get to safety and providing food.
